The Dawkins-Dennett video is great, thanks. It sounds like these two are believers in what I call “Cosmism”. The Cosmos plays a similar role for them as God does for many theists. These two atheists are clearly having a religious conversation, and they should just admit that. Why not embrace the cosmic religion of Einstein, Sagan and Clarke and stop pretending that they say “no” to all religious thinking? I think the cause of science and rationality would be much better served if people like Dawkins and Dennett gave their religion a name and embraced an inspiring, positive vision like Cosmism!
