Great posts! It is so wonderful so see how quickly our world is changing, and many of the developments were achieved just during 2009.

Also fascinating to see how, despite of the apparent march of technological progress, aside from our computers, I and everyone I know still only use and directly benefit from technologies which have been mostly unchanged since before I was born. (I don't even know anyone who has a car, a DVD player, or a cell phone.) Can't say for sure about indirect benefits, though.
