Well, I'd like to say it's some kind of advanced nanobot, but it's just a common fruit fly through an electron scanning microscope.
It is nice, but the graphic takes a lot of space. I'd scale it to the height of the text plus some padding.
@guymac - I like the large graphic, but I'll take you suggestion into consideration. Does anyone else agree with guymac?

Nice pic but it's kind of tall... maybe give it a bit of a vertical squeeze? Also, with all that blue and black it's a bit cold feeling.
What WAS the old tagline? I forgot already! I think the new one is a little more "dumbed down", but that's a good thing, will appeal to more people. Big graphics seem the way to go these days. Not hugely excited about the new pic, although it is better than before. I love the colour scheme though.
Old tagline: "Transhumanist perspectives on science, philosophy, ethics and the future of intelligent life."
