We all know in regards to these sort of matters it's the people behind the curtain offering incentives to vote in this way. Not much we can do to stop it, just got to go with the best of the worst in the hope it delays things.
when I am in a more liberal moment, I might be inclined to agree with the techno-progressive notion; but no matter what the president may support, there are many other things that go into the mix, not to mention the fact that presidential candidates say what at least some of us want to hear and also tend to get involved in many other things I agree with stuart's sentiments, because they more accurately, in my view, represent the way things really are in America; I am sick and tired of having to go with the best of the worst; besides, it does not put off the inevitable, or the fact that we will reap what we sow, Christian or not george, your quote of the week by Mark Twain said it all
Done and done. And I agree with melvin, there are lots of other issues at stake. As much I am concerned about support for science, it is by no means a litmus test for me.
