  2. "If it's so great to be smart," Dr. Kawecki asks, "why have most animals remained dumb?"

    Well that is because intelligence isn't necessarily required to pass your genes on to the next generation. That is all that is important from an evolutionary perspective. Look at bacteria, they do a good job of it. This persons question is stupid. If its great to be smart, why are doctors asking stupid questions like this?
